Celebrate the tradition of Aztec and Nahuatl dance and culture with Kalpulli KetzalCoatlicue at the Mahtomedi Farmer’s Market!

Kalpulli means "learning community" and KetzalCoatlicue means "Precious Mother Earth." This group of talented Indigenous artists combines music from the sacred drum, conch shells, seeds and other instruments gifted by the natural environment with spirited dance. A majority of the members are youth, but participating members ages range from toddlers to elders!
