Give the Gift of Creativity
Creativity isn't owned by the arts. It's taught by them.
We care about the security of your personal information. COMPAS does not share donor information with third parties. Gifts made on this page are processed securely by GiveMN through KIMBIA, which uses bank-level security requirements to keep your information safe. Your support brings the life-changing effects of creative education to thousands of Minnesotans!
Thanks to you, this year more than 50,000 kids and adults worked directly with some of Minnesota's most talented artists – many for the first time. Our roster of more than 100 artists teach in schools, community centers, and older adult centers throughout Minnesota.
Minnesota has some of the finest cultural activities in the world, but many students rarely experience creative arts education. Recent research showed that more than 50% of Minnesota school children don’t receive the state required amount of arts education. With your help, we can reach thousands more people with the magic of creativity.
Everyone has the potential to create – and the skills you learn through the arts shape the rest of your life. That is why for more than 40 years, COMPAS has worked to ensure that everyone has access to high-quality creative experiences led by professional artists.
We believe that participation in the arts is a vital part of education, and that the voice we give people through creativity has the power to change the world. Thank you for your support.
Would you like to provide opportunities for people to make art, now and in the future?
Would you like to ensure that we continue to reach rural towns and city neighborhoods, students in kindergarten through high school and beyond, artists who want to share their talents, and people of all ages who want to celebrate their culture?
If so, please consider making a bequest or other planned gift to COMPAS. Even a modest planned gift can greatly help us continue this important community work. Planned gifts are generally placed in endowment funds that support COMPAS on an annual basis. These funds have a lasting impact on the work we do.
How Does Planned Giving Work?
There are a variety of methods for supporting us with a planned gift, but here are three easy ways:
- Designate a specific amount or percentage of your estate as a contribution to COMPAS
- Donate assets such as stock or property directly to COMPAS
- Charitable gift annuities and life insurance policies that designate COMPAS as the beneficiary
