The Voice of Minnesota’s Young Writers

Every year, COMPAS showcases young writers from every writing residency in a school. With 43 editions under our belt, we’re eager to witness the latest contributions from today’s youth, adding to the collective tapestry of Minnesota’s young voices.

Our latest anthology, “a fire, a river, a window” showcases work from every Minnesota school hosting a COMPAS teaching writer-in-residence during the 2022-2023 school year as part of the Creative Classroom program.
