Mia Gifford

Arts Program Associate • She/Her/Hers

Mia Gifford rejoins COMPAS as the Arts Program Associate, where she will support the growth of Creative Classroom and Youth Arts programming and help expand the teaching artist roster.

A Southwest Minneapolis native, Mia has long been immersed in vibrant, diverse communities and deeply believes in the transformative power of the arts. She brings a strong passion for empowering individuals to pursue their dreams and is eager to help broaden COMPAS’s reach and impact. 

Mia holds a BA in Political Science with a minor in Chicanx and Latinx Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and an MA in Development Studies with a focus on poverty reduction from the University of Sussex in Brighton, England. Outside of work, she enjoys reading books, riding horses, traveling, and cheering on her favorite Formula 1 racing teams and drivers (Forza Ferrari!).
