Julie Strand-Blomgren

Julie is a white woman with a neat medium length haircut and glasses.

Julie started as Arts Program Director in June of 2016. She is responsible for all arts programs strategy and implementation as well as oversight for Salesforce and program evaluation. Julie has over twelve years’ experience in arts non-profit work, including time as Program Director at The Cabin – a Center for Readers & Writers in Boise, ID; and Education Coordinator at Woodland Pattern Book Center in Milwaukee, WI. She brings a sense of collaboration to all her work. In her spare time she enjoys teaching youth writing, participating in local arts opportunities, and writing poetry. Recent work has appeared in Western Humanities Review, Permafrost, and Grist Journal. Julie holds an M.F.A in Creative Writing, Poetry from Boise State University and a B.A. from UW – Green Bay in English and Human Development (Double Major).
