Amanda Hestwood

Arts Program Director • She/Her/Hers

Amanda Hestwood has been an educator and arts administrator for over twenty-five years and brings a wealth of experience to her role as the COMPAS Arts Program Director. Amanda most recently served as the Managing Director for Park Square Theatre and Director of Education for Ashland Productions, following more than twenty years of teaching English and Theatre in the South Washington County School District. Amanda has directed over forty stage productions as an artist, most recently The Wolves at Century College. She currently serves on the school board for the Saint Paul Conservatory for the Performing Arts and co-chairs several theatre booster boards.

In addition to overseeing the Arts Programs for COMPAS, Amanda directly manages and is the point of contact for all Creative Classroom programs, once again connecting to her background as an educator in the classroom. She has a Master’s in Education from Hamline University, focusing on ADHD and Neurodivergence in adolescence.

Amanda loves traveling and spending time with her family and friends in her free time. She is thrilled to join COMPAS in serving artists and creators of all ages and experiences!
