Dr. Stephen Hawley has been an entrepreneur, consultant and product developer focused on commercial applications of Artificial Intelligence for enterprises of all sizes and non-profits since 2017.

He brings a keen analytical mind and over 20 years of extensive expertise in technology commercialization, robotics and control, data science, and software. His experience spans start-ups to fortune 500 companies across industries including IT, biotechnology, computer hardware, and renewable materials.

Dr. Hawley’s prior life as an academic culminated as a Global Renewable Energy Leadership Fellow at the University of Minnesota, though his proudest achievement is co-founding the University of Washington chapter of Engineers Without Borders and building it into an award winning self-sustaining non-profit organization as a graduate student.

Steve holds both a Masters and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and a graduate Certificate in Technology Entrepreneurship from the Foster School of Business. He earned his BS in Bioengineering from UC San Diego.

A native of San Diego, Steve now enjoys the seasons living in Minneapolis with his wife and daughter.
