Lauren is a born and raised Minnesotan though she now lives across the St. Croix River in Wisconsin. She works at 3M as a Global Marketing Specialist, collaborating closely with 3M colleagues and customers around the world. After graduating from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Global Studies and Spanish, she began working at 3M as a Global Customer Service Analyst. After a few years in customer service she was promoted to Global Marketing Specialist and has had the opportunity to lead global projects and travel internationally.
Lauren holds multiple certifications, including 3M Leading Edge Leadership Development, SCRUM Product Development, Spark Leadership Training and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
She has long held an interest in the arts and believes in the importance of creative expression at all ages and skill levels. She has many fond memories of taking art classes in and outside of school and learning to quilt with her mom. In her spare time she enjoys trying new plant-based recipes, reading novels, and seeing movies. Lauren joined the COMPAS Board in 2024 is looking forward to contributing to the work they do to create opportunities for Minnesotans to experience art.
