Brittany Keefe

Executive Committee, Human Resources Committee Chair

Brittany Keefe (she/her) has dedicated her life to the transformative power of movement. As a professional dancer, she performed with the James Sewell Ballet, Minnesota Dance Theatre, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Ballet Memphis, American Repertory Ballet, Terpsicorps Dance Theater, and Morphoses.

Retired from the stage, Brittany continues to serve the field through her work as the Co-Artistic Director DanceCo, and the Marketing and Communications Director for Young Dance. Brittany is also certified in the GYROTONIC® exercise method and runs a home-based movement studio called My Spiral Motion where she teaches people to enjoy exercise and explore moving. Brittany is a proud resident of Minneapolis with her husband and daughter, and in her free time, she is pursuing a master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Leadership at the University of Minnesota.

Access to arts and the development of creative expression has shaped Brittany’s life and she is energized by COMPAS. Brittany is excited to serve on the COMPAS board and help ensure multiple genres of creative experiences are available to people of many ages and abilities.
