Programming

Virtual & Remote Programs

Interactive storytelling for kids!

Engage your community at home with interactive stories that you and Nicholas decide on!

Dance Together!

Provide a stimulating but modified activity for populations with all abilities. Participants have opportunities to lead and follow each other’s dance moves and engage with a short story.

Workshops

Learn communication skills through storytelling and improvisation! By playing interactive games and devising skits together, students learn how to collaborate with their peers and use creative problem solving. These skills are crucial elements in every field of education and all ages!

Performances

Listen, draw & dance to an interactive story by Nicholas! Back and forth conversations about the old stories foster healthy childhood development, as well as teach values such as empathy, thankfulness, kindness, and cooperation. Or, contract Nicholas to facilitate a storytelling session with a guest storyteller of your choice!

Professional Development

Collaborate with Nicholas to fully integrate a story from your curriculum.  Based on the specifics of your lesson plan, consult with Nicholas on how your class could present a week of storytelling, dance, art and conversation that would culminate in several small class skits that would retell the studied story in their own words.  In this way, students build a memorable relationship with the story by creatively unpacking it and sharing it with their classmates.

“It was interactive and fun. The story was great, with singing, hand motions, and laughter!”

“Nicholas as a speaker and a storyteller is incredibly knowledgeable, uplifting, and energizing. He teaches children to understand the characters in the stories he tells through creative dramatics and reenactment. Children learn to empathize with the characters. He engages directly with all attendants by name during the storytelling process which gives the entire experience a very personal feeling. He encourages the children to reflect back on the story through an art activity. Children engage in flexible learning activities as they use random objects around them in the room in creative ways that fit the story Nicholas tells. Dance and movement activities are involved, keeping kids engaged. Nicholas is truly an expert storyteller! I enjoy attending his stories with my two nieces.”
