The COMPAS Difference
COMPAS collaborates with you to deliver award-winning, easy-to-implement programs that inspire and build up the creator in each of us.
No matter what your past experience with the arts, COMPAS collaborations set you up for success. We work with you to plan and customize programs that meet the needs of your participants.
Every artist on the COMPAS roster is thoroughly vetted through an intense application process. Artists are evaluated based on their professional arts experience and teaching ability. In addition:
- Each artist or lead artist has a background check done bi-annually.
- Artists are visited on site by staff throughout the year to monitor their teaching approach and to provide feedback on their program.
- Artists receive professional development and peer mentoring.
COMPAS liability insurance covers each artist while they are at your site.
And when you book through COMPAS, we handle all the paperwork. You have one point of contact, one contract, and peace of mind. We make your job easier.
The COMPAS approach encourages the doing, creating and hands-on parts of art. We are hands-on in how we teach but also hands-off in the way we let people learn through their own discovery process, interacting with art and creativity rather than observing or “appreciating” it.
But you don’t have to just take our word for it. Here are just a few responses we received to the question,
