Workplace Giving Every fall, a wide cross-section of school districts, government offices, corporations and non-profits in the Twin Cities partner with United Arts to offer employees the option to support the arts in their annual workplace giving campaign. Workplace giving campaigns nurture new donors and promote increased awareness for the arts in the most cost-effective manner. Employees are given the opportunity to donate to United Arts through their place of employment, often via payroll deduction. In 2006, United Arts raised over $230,000 from more than 3,000 individuals that contributed through their workplace campaigns. Since its inception in 1954, over 200 groups have received funding from United Arts totaling over 30 million dollars. For a list of workplace campaign partners please click here. A workplace giving campaign can be as simple as a 10 to 15 minute presentation about United Arts, the organizations it represents and giving opportunities. Most campaigns last for one to two weeks and incorporate in-office activities, employee incentives and an easy payroll deduction system. United Arts is currently involved in 35 workplace giving campaigns.
