Ordway Center for the Performing Arts Education at Ordway Center Education at Ordway Center provides high quality performing arts education experiences to teachers and students with emphasis on introducing new audiences to the arts. Since the program’s inception hundreds of performing artists and educators have collaborated to bring students the highest quality productions reflecting many cultures and diverse ethnic groups. Celebrating its fifth summer, May 31- June 6, Education at Ordway Center’s Flint Hills International Children’s Festival will come to Rice Park in downtown Saint Paul where more than 30,000 people participate in a free world extravaganza. Within a six-day period the festival celebrates the power of children’s imaginations. It’s a free outdoor World Party with tents galore for hands on, take home arts activities, international foods for purchase, and a World Stage brimming with amazing performances by international artists. “We are thrilled to see this Festival not only continue to introduce thousands of people young and old to these exceptional performances, but it is immensely gratifying to see this Festival grow each year into an amazing annual event.” ~ David Galligan, Ordway Center President and CEO Educators, students and the general public have the opportunity to see and experience the sights, sounds, and rhythms through Education at Ordway.
