| United Arts raises money through workplace giving campaigns in schools, government offices, corporations and nonprofits to help support arts organizations in the 12-county Twin Cities metropolitan area. |
Who does United Arts Serve? |
| United Arts, a grant program of COMPAS, benefits approximately 30 Twin Cities arts organizations each year. These grants help ensure quality arts education in schools and sustain important community-building arts programs. |

| How is money raised through United Arts distributed? |
| Money raised through United Arts is redistributed through two grant programs: |

The School Arts Fund supports arts organizations' collaborations with schools to provide students with creative experiences and effective strategies for success within their K-12 curriculum.

The General Fund awards arts organizations for their work with neighborhoods, schools, and human service organizations. Support is provided to address social, cultural and educational issues through community-arts programming. |

What is the grant allocation process for the School Arts Fund and General Fund |
| Each year, arts organizations in the Twin Cities 12-county metro area are supported by United Arts funding through annual rounds of competitive granting. Decisions are made by a panel representing the communities we serveartists, educators, donors and community members. The panel's familiarity with school and community issues ensures that United Arts supports arts activities that make a significant community impact and represent diversity in expression and culture. |
Can I designate my United Arts gift? |
| Yes, United Arts accepts designations to any 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. |
Is there an administrative cost for Designated Gifts? |
| Yes, United Arts takes 15% out of the total designated gift amount for administrative support. |
Is my contribution tax-deductible? |
Yes, United Arts is a program of COMPAS, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
