Musicians join Brewers to Support COMPAS & Creativity

Fundraiser features arts, craft beer & spirit tasting, live music and food trucks

Saint Paul, MN (April 17, 2015) – COMPAS announces that on May 2, 2015, at its Arts & Crafts event, favorite local bands Communist Daughter and The Jack Brass Band will join with local craft brewers and distillers to support the arts and creativity.

Craft beer and spirit tastings, food trucks, and a beer-label design contest, are all part of the event at Uppercut Boxing Gym. Communist Daughter’s folk rock/indie pop sound and The Jack Brass Band’s New Orleans sound round out the event with sets by both bands.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will increase access to creative opportunities for children and youth throughout Minnesota.

As of April 6, participating brewers and distillers included 612 Brew; Brau Brothers Brewing Company; Fair State Brewing Cooperative; Northgate Brewing; Sociable Cider Werks; Summit Brewing Company; Tin Whiskers Brewing Company; and Wander North Distillery.
