COMPAS helps support the creation of art in communities across Minnesota through its granting programs. With funds raised by United Arts Fund—a workplace-giving campaign conducted in Twin Cities places of employment—and through partnerships with corporate and foundation philanthropic sources, COMPAS supports arts organizations' work in schools and communities. Community Art Program (CAP) via the McKnight Foundation, provides grants for arts in the community.
Medtronic Arts Access Program promotes cross-cultural understanding and increases accessibility to the arts.
United Arts Fund Grants:
General Fund provides resources for established arts organizations striving to reach new audiences.
School Arts Fund supports partnerships between schools and community arts organizations.
Greater Minnesota School Arts Fund supports partnerships between the arts community of Minnesota and schools located outside the 12-county metro.
