“Creating art (in all different forms) is an essential part of being human” - COMPAS Teaching Artist Lucy Rose Fischer
Teaching Artist Lucy Rose Fischer is a visual artist who specializes in the beautifully messy art form that is collage-making. The vibrant color streaks and clashing color palettes create work that transcends all ages and abilities. Lucy Rose’s art has been shown in over 50 exhibits and is on permanent display in public institutions and private collections. This past spring, she brought her expertise to participants at Tasks Unlimited Senior Lodge!
Tasks Unlimited provides supported employment, housing and recovery services for people with mental illness so that they achieve a full life with the rights and responsibilities of adults in our society. COMPAS is honored to be partnering with this organization for over four years.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
