Young Audiences dance artists Rita Mustaphi and Larry Yazzie bring two “Indian” dance styles together to address common stereotypes about South Asian and Native American cultures. Rita Mustaphi’s Katha Dance Theatre performs Kathak, the classical dance of northern India. Larry Yazzie, a Meskwaki/Diné, is a national champion Native-American Fancy dancer.
