Jae Haile' is a Latin and Hip Hop Dance Instructor at Social Dance Studio. He began Salsa Dancing while studying abroad in Sydney, Australia, and now teaches and performs salsa dance all over the Twin Cities. Jae is currently the choreographer for the Minneapolis Professional Salsa Team. Jae's teaching style is charismatic, energetic, fun and free. Jae has directed, facilitated and choreographed for many after-school and youth programs. Jae is very successful at keeping students engaged with dancing, creativity, and fun.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Jae Phillips describes his hip hop style as very “street” and southern-influenced. Jae’s hip hop workshops are inspired by music, from hip hop to any song that has some “grooviness” that moves you to dance.
