From Worthington to Roseau, COMPAS poets, creative writers, spoken word artists and songwriters work their magic with students throughout Minnesota, inspiring them to find their voice and surprise themselves—creating stunning pieces of writing in the process. And wow, do they have talent!

Each year COMPAS collects some of the best student writings and publishes them in an Anthology. We've published 36 over the decades and can't wait to see what today's youth will add to the collective voice of Minnesota students.

Check out the video of COMPAS' Anthology Celebration for the 36th edition, "The River Starts Flowing," that took place on December 12th, 2015 at Landmark Center. The annual event recognizes excellence in student writing and features readings by students from across the state of Minnesota.
